What Is The Highlights Feature?
We offer a Highlights feature in most of our desktop apps. This feature automatically clips events such as Kills, Deaths, Victory moments etc. If you want to learn more, we have an FAQ page you can access here.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
No Highlights are appearing, why?
Make sure you've selected events you wish to record. "Match recording: Enabled" will appear. Make sure to apply these settings before you start queueing for a match.
Please be aware: Highlights setting changes will not take affect if adjusted during a match (this includes during matchmaking/pregame phases).
How do I change the quality of the recordings?
1. Click the "Settings" button on the Highlights tab.
2. An Overwolf settings menu will appear. Customize the Video & Audio settings to your liking.
Note: These settings will affect all Overwolf recording apps. Opting for higher resolutions and FPS will decrease system performance.
My clips are stuttering/ lagging/ or just playing a black screen.
Generally, this happens when your GPU drivers are out-of-date, or you've chosen capture settings which are using up too many system resources.
